Togetherness and brotherhood have become a unifying knot for Daikin Indonesia, in responding to the pandemic that is befalling this nation. Together with business partners, Daikin Indonesia collaborates with kindness by providing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to medical personnel in several cities; Tangerang, Jakarta, Bekasi, Depok and Bogor.
For Daikin Indonesia (PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia, PT Daikin Applied Solutions Indonesia and PT Daikin Manufacturing Indonesia) collaborating is done as an effort to build a meeting point between business activities, work together and move, helping to alleviate the need for PPE for the health frontline. After previously in May last year Daikin visited the Covid-19 Front Group and the National Brain Center Hospital, this time Daikin Indonesia is collaborating with Benihbaik.com in the distribution of PPE.
This effort is in line with Daikin's CSR efforts, as well as commemorating 50 years of Daikin's presence in Indonesia. Daikin Indonesia chose Yayasan Benih Baik Indonesia (“YBBI) led by Andy F. Noya. In addition to having a common vision, Benihbaik has an official permit from the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. Daikin Indonesia believes that the PPE donations distributed together with Benihbaik will be right on target and according to needs.
